My name is Tesia (pronounced “Tessa”) Nichols and I recently graduated with my Masters in Social Work degree from USD in May 2021. I have an 18-month-old daughter, a loving boyfriend, and an extremely rare digestive disorder that all keep me on my toes! I had the opportunity to fall in love with Calm Waters and the mission behind it while completing my final practicum hours with Krystal, Calm Water’s CEO, as my supervisor. Her passion for fulfilling this need within our community absolutely rubbed off on me! I am eager to see Calm Waters unfold & help serve those who have served us.
